Priyadarshini is proud to be associated with the Society for Employment Generation and Enterprise Development in Andhra Pradesh (SEEDAP) under the flagship Andhra Yuva Shakthi Program, a state-led initiative aimed at transforming the lives of rural youth through job-oriented skill training.

This program is being successfully implemented in East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh, focusing on the Fish and Seafood Processing Technician job role—one of the most vital and employment-rich sectors in the region.

🎯 Program Objectives:

• To equip unemployed rural youth with industry-relevant skills in fish and seafood processing

• To enhance livelihood opportunities in the fisheries sector, which is a major contributor to the local economy

• To support entrepreneurship and wage employment in seafood value chains, including export industries

• To promote hygiene, safety, and sustainability standards in fish handling and processing

🐟 Job Role: Fish and Seafood Processing Technician

This specialized training covers:

• Basics of fish classification and grading

• Techniques for cleaning, filleting, deboning, and packing seafood

• Use of processing machinery and tools

• Cold storage and preservation methods

• Food safety and hygiene regulations

• Documentation and quality control for local and export markets

👩‍🔧 Who Can Join?

• Youth (18–35 years) from rural and coastal communities in East Godavari

• Preference given to school dropouts, unemployed individuals, and economically weaker sections

• No prior technical knowledge required
